Diploma Toolkit
The toolkit has been produced by the Travel and Tourism Diploma Development Partnership to give awarding organisations further information on the vision for the Diploma in Travel and Tourism. It should be used for the principal learning development process, alongside the line of learning criteria and the line of learning statement for the Diploma in Travel and Tourism. This document is a working document and will be updated during the development process.

Line of learning statement:
The line of learning statement has been produced by the Travel and Tourism Diploma Development Partnership and it provides the rationale and vision for the Diploma in Travel and Tourism. This document has been produced after extensive research and consultation with major stakeholders within the Travel and Tourism and Passenger Transport sectors. It also presents the content for the Diploma which has arisen from this research and consultation. The content will be used to develop the criteria and unit development.

Line of learning criteria:
This document is a set of criteria for principal learning and will act as the regulatory tool for the accreditation of the principal learning. It also specifies the requirements for the Diploma in Travel and Tourism, against which awarding organisations will be developing their principal learning qualification. This set of criteria has been official approved by the regulators Ofqual.
