Employers and the Diploma in Travel and Tourism
The Diploma was developed in response to employer demands for better skilled and employable young people by the Diploma Development Partnership of People 1st and Go Skills. The Diploma in Travel and Tourism has been designed to help young people understand the sector, as well as giving them the skills that will help them to work in a wide range of careers. It has been designed and developed in consultation with over 5,000 employers and with universities and colleges.
As employers, you will benefit from well-rounded new recruits who have the right mix of general employment skills and broad sector knowledge prior to entering the workforce. By getting involved with the Diploma in your local area, you can help make sure young people get the skills you need for your business.
