The role of Training Providers
The Diploma Development Partnership (DDP) recognises the vital role that training providers play in upskilling the travel and tourism workforce. The DDP appreciates the key role that these specialist providers could have in the delivery of the Diploma in Travel and Tourism, both in terms of workforce development and in helping to bring the Diploma alive in a truly applied setting for learners. At this stage, the DDP would advise training providers to get in touch with local schools and colleges to enquire whether they are part of a consortium applying to deliver the Diploma in Travel and Tourism via Gateway 3.
