This event will cover the subject of the highly complex and interdependent relationship between tourism and transport; the new international development in high speed rail links which are competing with domestic air travel and the controversial topic of airport expansion and airport 'hubs' alongside the competing views from inbound and domestic tourism to increase air passenger duty tax. The future of low cost airlines, cruise travel, ferries and train travel in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
